My courtesy light (amber light in Homelink unit) blew and I need to replace it. I was able to easily remove the light from the housing (love these snap to fit parts!,) but Honda doesn't sell a replacement bulb. The closest I've found is replacing the entire overhead console.

Does anyone have any advice on where I might be able to find just the bulb replacement? I've Googled everything I can think of and scoured bulb websites, but no luck. I've also tried finding a close match at Honda, but while they have the part for other cars this one is a different shape. GAAAHHHHH!!!

If I need to replace it myself with a soldering gun any advice on replacing the bulb with a LED bulb?

Is the original one a light bulb or a LED? If it's a light bulb, you can measure what voltage is supplied to it with a multimeter. Then try to source out a bulb for that voltage rating. If it's LED, then replacement is easy but finding one to match the color can be difficult. That light is very orange looking.
