It's usually the right side that is trashed first. It's been that way on every Ody I've worked on. I finally figured out it had to be the heat from the exhaust pipe that is nearby. I've never seen one damaged on the left side but I'm sure it could happen.

The dealer replaced the left rear control arm/bushing twice and the right rear control arm/bushing once on our 2014. The bushings don't last long.

They're referring to lower spring seats, not control arm bushings.

I have a pair of these for my Gen 2 Odyssey, and they appear "handed" (left hand or right hand), like mirror images of each other.

Go to Bernardiparts.com, put in your VIN, go to Parts menu, Chassis, Rear Shock Absorber. I'll bet your later gen Ody also has a different P/N for each side.
