Howdy,

Planning on replacing the struts on my 05 Ody w/ 131K miles. While I?m down there, I also plan on replacing the rotors/pads. Are there any other components that I should look into replacing?

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

When I did the struts on our van, one of the bump stops was broken and falling apart - the fun thing is you can't see it until you take the strut boot off. they are cheap - so maybe those? Other than that, I'll echo the take a look recommendation - if your front endlinks have play, replace those - bushings are a good idea as well. For the brakes, don't forget to flush and replace the brake fluid. For the rear struts, take a look at the spring seat cushions (not sure what they are called - they are at the bottom of the springs) are in good shape - we had one of those die on our van.

I read another thread and the OP replaced the endlinks. For the rears, I did see that the 'bump stops' were worn down. I also dont know what to call them. If anybody has a part #, I'd really appreciate it if you could post it up.

Another problem I saw. The rear driver sits lower than the rear pass side; question...can the factory springs go bad? Reason why I ask is that a technician from a local Honda dealership mentioned that springs usually don't go bad and perhaps it could be the shock absorber.
