Greetings and salutations ;)

I hope everyone has some exciting plans for this weekend :DD Without further ado, I'd like to post up a concise outline of the starter replacement job for a '02 Odyssey. Enjoy!

1) Disconnect the negative battery cable

2) Remove the transmission fluid cooler line clamp.

3) Disconnect the starter wiring harness connectors.

4) Remove the starter motor.

--Installation--

1) Install the starter motor. Tighten the upper bolt to 33 ft. lbs. (44 Nm) and the lower bolt to 47 ft. lbs. (64 Nm).

2) Connect the starter wiring harness connectors. Tighten the battery cable nut to 79 inch lbs. (9 Nm).

3) Install the transmission fluid cooler line clamp.

4) Connect the negative battery cable.

Well JoeOdy,

Hate to disagree with you, especially since you seem well intentioned with all these procedures you are posting, but I had to remove the battery and battery tray to get the starter on my '02. ;)
