I think this has been asked before, but does anyone know how I can reset the maintenance light? Thanks.

The owners manual on my '01 LX states on page 68 and I quote:

1. Turn off the engine

2. Press and hold the select/reset button on the instrument panal, then turn the ignition switch on (II).

3. Hold the button until the indicator resets (approximately ten seconds).

I had to do this after I had my first service done. I had it done a little early and the light illuminated on schedule. I was impressed that Honda had documented this proceedure in the owners manual. I've seen other manufacturers that didn't do this. It saved me a trip back to the dealership.

Ohhhh, thank you very much. I never thought about the owners manual for some reason...

I too took our Ody in for service a little early last time and asked them to reset the memory, but the maintenance light isn't turning on for next service which is suppose to be anytime now.
