Does anyone know where I could find some black rubber padding, maybe 1/8" thick?

I need something to protect the paint from a mag-mount emergency light, and I'd like to line the tray in my center console to keep things from sliding around.

Checked the Home Depot shelf-lining area, and nothing they had was to my liking. Nothing was black, more to the point.

Any ideas?

Sears Hardware had some tool chest liner in rolls. It could be cut to size. That sounds about like what you want.

Check Home Depot or Lowe's in the tool chest area.
