sab2624 - please help

Yes I have a 99 Ody. When we first took delivery in July 99 we had a shifting problem within the first 5 miles. When the car shifted from 2nd into 3rd, it would hang in 2nd too long and rev the rpm's, then snap into 3rd. When you came to a stop you could hear the transmission downshift. Were disturbing for a $26K car. The dealer was at first stumped and I was wanting a different vehicle. At the last minute the factory suggested they replace a solenoid on the transmission. They said something about how it can get clogged with some metal. The replacement solenoid did the trick. However, to this day I believe the transmission is still not right. I can't prove it but, when I shift from park to drive and then back I can hear some clunks when the transmission shifts. If anyone else had a solenoid replace I would interesting in knowing your current tranny status.
