Send a Pause followed by numbers vis Bluetooth

New owner of an EX-L RES.....I have my phone all synced up. I am wondering if in speed dial if there is a way to send a pause followed by a few numbers in a phone numbers. On my cell phone I can do the following:

xxx-xxx-xxxx,,,,,,xxx

Some of my contacts have an automated receptionist and the pause and numbers send their extensions once the call is connected. I realize the system has a Dial Tones function but it is annoying/dangerous to have to enter those manually everytime you place a call while driving.'

Anyone successfully do this? Thanks....

Have you tried entering the pause in your phone's contact list and then just dial from the phonebook?

Yes, that did not work....the extension does not transfer. However I solved my own problem. Did a manual speed dial entry and at the end of the numbers there is a 'P' which turns out is a pause. So i did xxx-xxx-xxxPPPxxxx and now dials, connects, pauses, sends the extension. It works great!
Thanks for the tip!
