I just recently purchase a 05 which has 220000 The previous owner did change the timing belt water pump and plugs and adjusted the valves at around 208000 but I have lost contact with them and I was going to question him about the tranny if he has had the fluid replaced but just hypothetically speaking what if he didn’t should I or should I not I would like for the vehicle to last me at least a few more years because it runs so well and everything works perfectly

Have you looked at the color of the fluid on the dipstick?

Generally, these Honda transmissions don't seem to mind the fluid changes if they've been neglected. Just change it once and drive it for 500-1000 miles and then do 2-3 more times every 500-1000 miles.

Change it, it is very easy to do a drain and refill. Costs less than $20 with Valvoline maxlife.

I'd recommend sticking with the Honda DW-1 fluid.
