Has anyone self-installed the wood grain kit? Is it difficult? About how much did it cost and are you happy with the way it turned out?

I installed the Honda factory woodgrain kit, using only the "front" portion of what Honda offers. This covers the speedo area, around the a/c grills on the Nav version. Total of three pieces. Whole thing took like 20 minutes, literally, and installation was easy and clean. Don't know about aftermarket kits-most have many more pieces than what Honda kits offer. Honda kit dressed up the interior of the car A LOT.

If you plan to install aftermarket kits, do it with the heat FULL blast and your interior at 90+ degrees. Have the kit sit inside for a while. PLEASE PLEASE clean your dash with ALCOHOL, several times at least before attaching wood. The heat allows the wood to flex. I've installed about 100 wood kits in my time. No biggie.

I installed a kit from wooddashfactory.com a few weeks ago. It is made from real exoitic burl and sells for $399.99, but I got mine for $123 on Ebay, it looks great and has MANY more pieces than the Honda kit. And since it's real wood, it looks so much better than those simulated kits out there, you can really tell the difference. I will post some pictures once I get them back from thr devolper.
