Those are headrest's mounts, what Chuck did was remove the headrests and pulled the seat backward so that the seatback becomes the bottom cushion and the bottom cushion becomes the seat back.<font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">Originally posted by TrickedOdyssey:

I think Trick was referring to the buttons on the seat back cushion of the second row seat in the stratolounger picture. My '00 EX didn't have those either (I have leather now. They are too high for the LATCH.<font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">Originally posted by hgani:

They're just indicators for lining up a child seat to the LATCH points, which are directly below them. I think they were just introduced in '01.<font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">Originally posted by exindenver:
