Source for Headlamp Assemblies

The headlamp assemblies on my 2001 Odyssey are pretty scratched up / opaque from the previous owner. I'm not quite sure what they did but does anyone have a recommendation of what can be done to either buff them clear again or where a good replacement source is for a reasonable price?

Look to a nearby auto store. You'll be able to get one of those drill clean up balls for headlights.

I have used a headlight restoration kit once before. After seeing how simple the supplies/products are, i just buy my own stuff and do them myself. Using varying degrees of sandpaper, rubbing compounds and buffing polishes works extremely well. There are tons of vids and DIYs on the net for headlight restoration. Here is a few quick links i pulled off the net.

A few things i have done differently,i have used a rotary buffer. I have used toothpaste as as the abrasive (solid white toothpaste with no gel) works great. I have also removed the headlights and used a rim/wheel clearcoat (handles heat better then normal clears) to lock in the shine.

cheers,
Ian

It is a very easy straight forward project, and the results are very satisfying.
