I put Ruthenium plugs last Fall, mainly due to my impatience--the online vendor did not have 6 NGK Iridiums in stock (on back order) so I bought the NGK Rutheniums which at the time were very close to the price of the out of stock Iridiums. The plugs I pulled looked fine at 100K miles--I had installed a VCMTuner II when we bought the van at 45K miles.

I do not understand the hesitancy to pay full price for a VCMTuner II or equivalent--the cost of the device divided by the number of years one plans to own the vehicle comes out to be close to what some folks pay for ONE Starbucks concoction--and they pay that amount more than once per year!
