Are the dealer installed replacement speakers the same speakers that Handa sells as an upgrade?

What do you mean by "replacement speakers"? If you mean upgraded speakers sold by a dealer as a genuine Honda accessory, yes. If you mean one of your speakers is blown and the dealer replaces it under warranty, you'll get exactly what's in there now, most likely.

What I'm saying is that the dealer COULD install the "upgraded" speakers instead of the OEM parts if they didn't have that in stock.... But probably not.

I would go with a good aftermarket pair of speakers if I were you. In fact, I just did today and I'm real happy with it. I'm sure that a reasonably priced aftermarket speakers will sound better than OEM upgrades.
