I've searched on my particular issue, no luck. I replaced my rotors and brakes in August. In the van the other day noticed a high pitched squeal coming from the front. It's pronounced at low to medium speeds and stops if i pump the brakes. It also is pronounced when turning. Are the two related? I need advice diagnosing the problem.

Thanks

^ +1. Probably brakes if it stops when you press the pedal.

These were after market brakes from AZ, would some anti-sieze be the trick? I just used the packets that came with the brakes. Any good tutorials on how to best apply that stuff?

Since this site is a great place to find answers I thought I would share a solution I discovered while troubleshooting the above problem.

The source of the squeal turned out to be a brake shoe clip that had slipped a bit and was rubbing against the rotor. After pulling the shoe and a quick adjustment of the clip, the problem stopped.
