I have been looking at pictures of the Steel Horse tote, and notice that the tote surrounds the sides of the tv/vcp and may cover the side firing speakers. Does anyone who uses the tote notice a muffling of the sound?

Most of the tv/vcp combos do not have front mounted speakers, so how does this unit still offer quality audio?

I have not noticed a muffling of the sound, on the contrary, it's too loud! It fires the sound into the driver's (or passengers) ear and it's really anoying. There's an easy solution, though. Buy a cheap set of battery powered computer speakers. Plug 'em into the headphone jack and put 'em back with the kids. Now Mom and Dad can listen to the radio/CD/tape (sound all in the front) and the kids get the video. Works great!
