Anyone ever get this issue solved??

Mine is on a 19 passport but I’ve been bouncing around forums and I’ve seen the same complaint on the pilot, passport, Ridgeline, and odyssey forums..

Whenever I turn right into a parking spot and let the car sit for at least 10-15 minutes and I back out of the spot turning the steering wheel to the right about midway through the turn I get a sometimes subtle sometimes loud popping/clunking noise. It doesn’t seem to do it when turning left and the car typically has to sit an extended time for it to happen. Does that sound similar to what you experienced in any way? They replaced both front strut assemblies just not the springs but it still does the noise

Bori are you hearing it just from the backing out or is it when you are turning the steering wheel and backing out?

Damn.. Im curious what that could be, especially if it does it just going straight. I know the ABS makes a subtle pop noise when you hit about 6mph but I doubt you get up to that fast reversing from the driveway unless you have a long drove way maybe lol.

The noise amd mentioned in his original post doesn’t sound like the same noise this forum was created for, he said his sounds like plastic crumpling. The original noise described in the first post is a clunk, which seems to be what most people are experiencing.
