Yesterday, after spending a fortune getting the door sills and chrome door trim, the dealership said they discovered this intermittent sound was caused by a tie rod end that they ordered and will replace tomorrow in about an hour.
rls002, I would also be interested to know if the problem was fixed after changing tie (outer?) rods.

My 19' EXL & NAV (Feb 2019 production) has about 350 miles, but I already heard this "clunk" sound twice.

Since there are at least 9 folks with the apparently same problem we might need to bring this to the attention of the corporate.

Hey, new poster here but I would like to chime in on this.

I'm a member over on the Ridgeline forums but figured I'd post over here as well. We recently purchased a new 19 Odyssey Elite and around 800 miles in it developed strange sounds from the front end. The sound didn't manifest as a clunk but more like if you were to crumple plastic or a foil lined bag of chips under a pillow when you would turn the wheel. I had noticed the steering was a bit twitchy as well but had attributed it to the lousy OEM Bridgestone tires (I dumped the Bridgestones on the Ridgeline pretty quick).

Long story short, the dealer just called me and said they traced the issue to the inner tie-rod. My dealer is replacing the tie rods on our Odyssey.
Well, it seems like replacing tie rods did not solve the issue for rls002's van.

Please let us know after dealership replaces tie rods and you drive hundred miles or so if the front end noise is gone.

Thank you!

"Yeah, they finally traced it to a crossmember under the vehicle."

amdsupport: Thank you for update on this!

I brought my van 2019 van for the door water leak (driver side) and for this loud clunk/metal sound coming from the front. The water leak was fixed, but the 'clunk' they could not reproduce.

Do you have this sound every time you start driving or periodically? I heard it about 4 or 5 times so far backing out from the driveway.

Both. Yesterday, I was backing out from the driveway straight and sound happened almost immediately. A week earlier, the sound was when I turned the wheels after backing out from the driveway.
