The sliding door on one side of my Ody refuses to open easily. Being a smaller woman, my wife simpy can't open it at all. I tried it and it was hard. It was like a big vacuum suction cup is on the other end. This happens typically when the van has been parked outside overnight. Perhaps the seals are too tight? Is there a spray that I can apply?

I am glad that this was not an EX - the motor for the automatic door would have been burned out if it were.

I do all my door seals with 303 and they never stick. The standard treatment for this sort of thing is some silicone spray, which should work just fine. You might also try putting a little grease on the striker of the latch. That might help it to release a little easier.

answer to sticky doors

Search for the post below and you will find your answer. I haven't tried it yet but will soon and I'm betting it will work. It happens to my Odyssey in the heat (I'm in LA) but it's been a real drag (my one complaint about the car) and I'm looking forward to a fix.
