This past weekend my wife and I went to a party at a home on some property with a gravel driveway. In order to make room for others I parked on the side of the driveway in the mud. Within a couple of minutes I was in up to the hubs. A guy with a 4Runner pulled us out by tying a tow strap to the latch for the rear hatch. We couldn't find anything else to use. I was amazed that it held. I hope you never need it, but it worked for me. Use it at your own risk. I'm sure Honda would tell you not to use it, but I didn't know what else to do. We're now taking the truck to all winter parties.

wow... you couldn't find the tow hooks????!? i guess i never looked on my odyssey..

The front tow hooks were burried in the mud and I couldn't find any in the back. I know they exist, but I couldn't find them in the dark.
