So I saved a bunch of money doing struts & sway bar links awhile back but I nicked the sway bar when cutting off the stabilizer end link with my Dremel. Booooo.

Found the OEM at Bernardi for $80 and want to have it done right (and before the new end links get stuck on there like the others did after a bunch of miles).

That said, if I disconnect the end link and remove the bracket/bolts where the bushings are held, is that it? Will it just slide out to one side?

If anyone can point me in the direction of a YT video, I'd be forever thankful. Right now I'm stumped because my Google-fu is failing me. "how to replace sway bar on honda odyssey" and all derivatives show only end links/sway bar bushings. Thanks in advance!

How bad did you cut the old bar? If just a little nick I wouldn't worry about it, and just apply some paint so it doesn't rust.

That said, the links and bushings are all that hold the bar, but I don't know if other components have to be removed to slide it out.

Nicked with a dremel? Paint it and move on. Most likely, you need to drop the subframe a few inches to get the swaybar out.

Thanks @phattyduck for making sure I'm not overthinking this.

More than nicked though. 1/8" or so -- I was mad at the end links and thought I was giving only those my anger/frustration. Not so much but what can you do.

I've got new bushings so I'm going to attempt to slide it out like the official manual says you can do. Worse case if it's not working, I'll just do the bushings and leave it until I can mess with it more.

Step #4 is the only thing that seems to be added on top of the bracket bolts/end links so we shall see how it goes (manual screenshot below).
