Since the Lincoln plant is up and running. Does anyone think prices will reduce? I have 3 dealers (Chicago and Indianapolis) that are willing to go $500 under MSRP. Should I keep looking for other dealers willing to go less? Should I wait to see if prices reduce. Is Lincoln going to manufacture more Ody's that previous years?

It is more likely that any reduction you see in price will be caused by reduced demand rather than increased supply assuming you are on a month or 2 time-frame to buy your van. Once the economy picks up and people are buying cars again the prices will head back north. The impact of the supply-side of the equation won't be felt for a little while. Lincoln will eventually produce 20% more than Canada. (If I haven't kept up I'm safe in the knowlege that someone here will correct me 8)

I talked to a dealer yesterday and they indicated that while the they are producing more odyssey's now, they are going to soon be moving some of that production to the new SUV that Honda will be putting out. I'm not sure that he really had this on any authority, but he was just describing their current increased production to me. It sounded like that if this is the case it is not until the fall so who knows!
