I have an 03 EX-L. Hearing a pronounced thumping-like noise from the rear of the van and also sometimes the front. We've never noticed this noise in the 4 years we've had this van. We have 51,000 miles on it now. The noise generally is heard when turning at low speeds, but it doesn't always make the sound every time we turn. Any ideas or opinions on what it could be? I've done several searches on this and have read a lot of posts but would like opinions. If it were the gasoline, we would have heard that during the last 4 years.

Bad tire perhaps? Look for irregularities on your tire tread and sidewalls.
Bad CV joint? This would be from the front, and would likely be more a "clunk" than a "thump", but would be most pronounced on turns.
Loose wheel lug nuts?
Broken exhaust hanger?
Some other loose component?
I would get under the car and start looking, shaking, pulling...

As what Santoli3 said check if there is something lose like a wheel nut or the screws above the tire.

If that didn't help, may be it will be good just to take it to a mechanic and tell him that there is a sound that come and goes and he will check it for you.

In my previous car, my mechanic did that for free when he found a loosen screw that he just tight it up and the sound disappears

Hope that helped
