I have a 2007 Honda Odyssey at first it was saying I had a evap problem I got that fixed I had 2 leaks I had those fixed now my tighten gas cap keep coming on then it will go off and my engine light will come on. I took it to the Honda dealer 3 times and they fixed the leaks. The tech said he fixed all that he could so my light shouldn't come back on but if it did he wouldn't know what the problem is. Can you give me some advice? Do you think I could be an electrical problem?

I had that replaced already
You mentioned 3 trips to the dealer for the same exact problem??????

Everything you've had replaced by the Honda dealer is warranted.
Parts & Labor!

Can you scan the bills you've paid?

I myself would give the official Honda Customer support a call and explain that you cannot afford to keep bringing your car in for repairs, only to have the same exact problem re-appear.

That you no longer trust this particular dealers diagnostic abilities and it's "repeatedly" costing you $$$$$ and time

The problem is re-appearing immediately?

They are professionals
They have diagnostic/troubleshooting procedures way beyond most mechanics

They should have fixed it right the first time, NO EXCUSES

Good luck

Should it actually BE an electrical problem.....

Go crazy on 'em because they didn't diagnose it right the first time

You already paid for this diagnosis

(It seems like)
They just threw easy to replace parts at it (at your expense)

Troubleshooting EVERY emissions code requires electrical testing

If they tell you you have a wiring/electrical problem,
ask how that could have possibly been missed at the very first repair

Don't let them BS you and say:
"NOW" you have an electrical problem that just happens to show the same emission codes
