Hello all. I have a 2015 exl res, 138k miles. We've had it less than a year and not long after we got it the top screen started malfunctioning randomly. Sometimes it shows what I took a picture of, sometimes it's a white screen with
"++ Honda accord tft date of manufacture 2014 ++."
When it goes to this screen it acts like a touch screen but when you click an icon it pushes the wrong one. Also we don't have navigation so what's with the nav icon?
I can't figure out what triggers it or how to fix it. I've googled and looked on YouTube and can't find anything about the issue. When this happens the backup camera and side mirror camera dont work. I can usually turn the van off and restart it and it will go away but that is getting old.
any help would be greatly appreciated!

Editing to add.. yesterday the alternator randomly went out while I was driving. It acted like it went into neutral, no acceleration, all lights and signals went haywire surging and flashing, then radio went out. I was able to coast out of the road and within seconds all the dash lights went out and the whole thing just died. We replaced it and got a new battery. I went back this morning to return the old alternator and had them check it and they said it was only pulling 12.8 v. Now after joining here and reading thru it looks like we may have messed up by putting a car quest alternator in but I already took the old core back so what can I do. This one was over 500$! We are leaving in 4 days to take a cross country trip and at this point I'm worried we're gonna be broke down in the middle of nowhere. Any advice?
Editing to add again. I checked rock auto and the Denso is out of stock anyway.

Bottom line is you do need a Denso alternator. There is no "other option".

Make sure the front spool valve isn't leaking onto the alternator.

This is just guessing, but......
You have an Odyssey.
Your screen says Accord.
Is it possible the prev. owner. had screen failure and it was replaced by what was available at the local recycler?

You can look up the part for your van at an online seller like Majestic, and click on the "fitment" tab to see if the same part is used in both.

The 210-0887 shows in stock at carid, a reliable supplier and forum sponsor. Not as cheap as Rock would be, but not terrible at $276.
