Is it possible to have both the TPMS check light and the low tire pressure light both on at the same time? From what I read on the manual, the TPMS light indicates that it is no longer monitoring tire pressure so the low tire pressure light shouldn't even come on anymore since TPMS has been disabled.

What should I do in this situation if both lights are on? I just bought new tires three days ago so I'm thinking the valve stem is causing the TPMS issue.

I'd go back to where you got the tires. Possible they broke a sensor while mounting/dismounting tires. It happens more often than it should.

Is it easy to notice a broken sensor in which tire? I'm bringing the car back to Walmart to have them check the TPMS and low tire pressure monitors since the tires are all new and installed about a week ago. I'm hoping it's a quick and easy fix for these common problems after install and that they don't give me the "runaround".

not visually, but they should be able to identify it with their scan tools.

I'm assuming the TPMS lights were not on when you took it in to get new tires right? And it turned on right after? They shouldn't give you a problem, but it depends on how old your TPMS sensors are. They may claim the battery died.

It turns out that it wasn't actually the TPMS light but the tire pressure low words and symbol only. Took it in to the Honda Dealership and had them inflate it to pressure. The two tires on the driver's side was at 50psi while the two on the passenger's side were at 31 psi. Why would the psi be so different on the driver's side at 50psi after a new install or maybe the colder weather (40 degrees) impact the psi? After inflating to the correct cold psi of 33, it feels better now.

You mentioned that you got the tires put on at Walmart earlier right? that's your answer. Happens at almost any tire shop though - they just fill them up so they're not flat.

You always have to check the tire pressures yourself after having anything done to them.

Walmart, shudder, never again. I was lucky this summer, that my battery died while on vacation. Decided to go to Walmart, cause I actually like their batteries.
It took 3 techs 1 hour to replace my battery. This included the horse play, where one guy threw himself at the car, while another was pulling it out of the bay and pretended like
he was ran over..... all the while, I am standing right there and watching.

I also observed another guy put tires on. You would think he was trying to set a world record on quickly he can get it done.
Never cleaned the rim, tire off, tire on, impacted all the wheels back on.

I agree. The only times I've taken my car to Walmart is for their tire purchase and install since they sell them cheaper there comparable to other places with the same price but I believe lesser quality. You'd think a simple tire install wouldn't be that difficult. Is it true that Walmart only services tires and oil change and lube services? Or do they do other full mechanic services too?

No idea, and hopefully will never find out
