On my 2010 Odyssey Touring, replaced a TPMS Sensor (Left Rear) that showed as defective at one of the reputed tire shops near me. They installed the new one, programmed it . All was fine for 10 miles but later the TPMS System warning started glowing again. This happened twice. Not sure what is the issue. Did anyone face this issue before? The tires look good and not deflated.

It is possible TPMS system needs checking, which may require bidirectional scanner such as NT510. If just sensors, I have an 08 that were self programmed. But at least the tire shop should be able to read the error code. You can troubleshoot from there. Many can help here if you put the code here.

You may want to have the other 3 TPMS sensors replaced. ( Even if this is not your current issue) If one failed due to low battery, the others won’t be far behind. It’s normal to have to replace the TPMS sensors every 7-9 years. Batteries do wear out.

Did they actually replace the sensor twice, or did they do it once and when you came back they just cleared the light?

Sounds like a bad replacement sensor to me...

All the other three were replace last year. This was the only one remaining.

The tires look good and not deflated.

Do yourself a favor and use a quality tire pressure gauge and check the pressure on all 4 tires and make sure they are equal. Looks can be deceiving. The TPMS system reports errors if there is VARIANCE in tire pressures. A few lbs variance can set it off, and tires will look just fine.

Could be a sensor issue, but start with the basics first instead of chasing your tail searching for a problem that may not even exist in the first place.

The shop's scan tool should also show the individual readings for each tire, not just error codes. Mine does.
