I had to drive in a snowstorm last night without the snow tires on. The traction control got a workout. I heard a lot of clicking (heavy kind) and the traction control light kicking on in concert.
I really had to work it to get home, I got the snow tires on now and there are no codes but should I be checking anything? I am a little concerned I have have hurt something.
It runs and drives just fine still but I just want to be on the safe side.

Every time I've driven on challenging surfaces, my TCS has done exactly the same thing on my 2001 EX, 2002 EX, and 2003 EX. It seems that whenever I've given the TCS a workout on icy roads with regular all-season tires, it has done exactly as you've described with no ill effects whatsoever.

Thanks! I got the snows on last night and no more issues. It does great with the snows. No issues whatsoever.

Thanks for your feedback!
