My van has the same exact shifting. The previous owner had the same problem with the shifter as well right before the Trans went haywire. He even
had the transmission replaced and no luck. Solenoids work, tcu is good Trans fluid replaced multiple times, and speed sensor replaced and still nothing. I'm lost. Might take it to honda next.

Disconnect the Tps sensor and see what happens. I believe that's gonna be it. I disconnected mine and its now shifting into the gears smooth. The tps
Is between the throttle body and the firewall. Its bolted to the throttle body. Hope that works.

Just changed the tps and now the van runs awesome. Shifts perfect and smooth through every gear. Thanks odyclub for all the good links. Now I can enjoy her.
