I know a lot of you have seen this as it's going around again today after the dreadful attacks on us. Every time I've seen it, it's unattributed. The good news is that here's the guy who wrote it. The bad news is IT WAS ALMOST THIRTY YEARS AGO!!! Do you think anyone listened to him?

Chuck,
Thanks for posting this link. I got this as an email several times, the most recent of which was edited to make it seem like it was said in response to yesterday's attacks.
This fact does not however, diminish the meaning or importance of Sinclair's words.
Appreciate you clarifying this, Chuck!

Gordon Sinclair was one of our most respected journalists, and it's ironic that Canadians look back with pride at his now renowned efforts to help America find theirs.

Here is bio of Gordon Sinclair (1900 - 1984) and a recording of that famous broadcast to the American people in his own voice.

Glad to hear it's helping once again.
The point is that he said it almost thirty years ago and it's as if he said it yesterday.
