We left two Saturdays ago to visit dear friends up the Columbia Gorge (they live across from Hood River, OR). It was our maiden long road trip in the Ody (now named Oliver). Basic itinerary :

Vancouver
Olympia
Whilte Salmon
Goldendale

Did some touristy stuff in that area, then back home:

Olympia
Whidbey Isld (Coupeville)
Bellingham
Vancouver

Ody performed flawlessly, the 5A tranny was smooth as butter. Passing slower traffic was a breeze (love this 3.5L V6). Sometime during the trip, the engine loosened up and is probably getting into the breaking-in phase, as the odometer is approaching 26,000 kms (bought Ody in April at 24,700 km). Gas mileage is improving too, as the total trip clocked 1,700km and I used less than US$200 gas (estimate $175) since the tank was 1/2 full arriving home.

Sounds like fun. Longest trip I have made was about 4 hrs north to Lutsen ski hill from the twin cities. Great cars to ride in.

Just did a quick 100 mile (one way) trip out to a cabin NW of the cities for a week, and it was a nice smooth ride.

Thinking for a name for my van as well... what's the characters name from Ods world?
