06 with 72K. new tires, allignment, problem exisited before I rotated the tires too ( f to b).
on the highway at 65 + under a load (giving it gas) the stearing wheel starts to shake and will continue as long as you continue to give it gas... let off the throttle and the shake goes away.
this even occurs using the cruise control.

The wheel bearings and the right axle were replaced in the past.

any thoughts would be great.

Thanks!

We had a similar issue that went away when we replaced a bad rear engine mount. However, we also felt a strong vibration at low RPMs which was the primary reason we had it checked out. I was surprised the steering wheel shake at highway speeds went away when the mount was replaced.

The good news is that it was fairly easy to diagnose the bad engine mount. The bad news is that it cost an arm and a leg to replace.
