I've searched the forum and couldn't really find what I was looking for. If this information is already on the forum, please point me in the correct direction.

We have a 2005 Honda Odyssey EX. I installed a Hidden Hitch trailer hitch. Here's the link - http://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Hitch/Honda/Odyssey/2005/87479.html?vehicleid=2005201302

According to Hidden Hitch and the sticker on the hitch, this is a weight distributing hitch up to 5000 pounds.

We are interested in a 17 foot Casita travel trailer.

1 - Can we tow this with our Odyssey?

2 - What else would we need to do to the Odyssey to make it ready to tow the Casita? I'm looking for an ordered list of things I need to start working on.

3 - Are there any drawbacks to towing with the Odyssey?

This is all new to me. I stayed in a camper a lot as a kid and want my kids to experience the same thing.

There are several threads on towing with 05's that will show up in a search or two...Lots of comments about handling, capability, performance as well as the utility and need for AT and PS coolers with any hitch installation.
