Nothing will be better than OEM, but beyond that it can depend on your goal. Is this a DIY project? A "quick strut" is much preferred for several reasons. First it is far easier to replace the entire assembly vs just the gas charged strut. Second, it has the advantage of giving you all new components including the springs, strut mounts, etc. In fact, even if this is not a DIY project, at an independent shop it can be a wash in regard to total cost because the labor reduction at $100 an hour or more can be reduced by a similar difference in parts cost to replace an assembly vs just the actual strut. And quite frankly I would never replace the struts without replacing the strut mount at the same time due to that part being a very common noise issue post strut replacement. Unfortunately there is no OEM assembly option and purchasing all the associated parts separately gets ungodly expensive. My first choice for aftermarket would be KYB as that is typically considered as near to OEM as you can get without actually getting OEM. rockauto.com is as good a source for the KYB as anywhere IMO.
