What is this in my car?

It's some lame dealer installed device for whatever reason. I'd remove it and restore it to factory condition.

Karr alarm system installed by many dealers. Usually they install a bypass when it is sold. I found the same thing in my Accord. Removing it can be somewhat involved and it's not causing an issue so far so I haven't bothered.

I spent the time to remove the one from my van. There were even a few wires run into the driver's door! I didn't want any crappy electronics under the dash of our van. (it costs the dealer like $35 for one of those and they try to sell them for like $500 to unsuspecting customers)

Thanks for the reply guys. For now I’ll leave it as the wires not only goes deep but it does go through the door. Don’t feel like taking so many things apart just yet. 😀
