did all the coils come out in one piece? that kind of looks like a rubber boot or plastic from one of the coils, the pic isn't ideal.
you will need long needle nose pliers long pointed tools to get the pieces out.
working back there is easier if you have a mirror, I use dollar store school locker mirrors, along with some automotive telescopic specialty mirrors.
The best way working back there for periods of time, is put a pad or old cushion on the top of the motor and lay on it while you're working.
