WHATS IN MY SPARK PLUG THREAD
There is something stuck in my spark plug thread but I already pulled the old one out (it wasn't broken) and had a mechanic do a compression test on it but they checked and have all their pieces from their kit. I have tried using the spark plug socket, pliers, magnets, etc. This is the last spark plug I have to put in and no one can tell me how this thing got in there. It's also at the back of the engine and really hard to access. HELP please

First, here is a link to the 3rd gen known issue 14-032 Honda Technical Service Bulletin
You are going to have to narrow this issue down:
1. is it coming from under the hood
2. is it coming around filler neck
3. is it smell strictly inside the cabin
Do you smell it right away when you step inside the cabin or does the smell occur once HVAC is activated?
That could differentiate if its coming under the hood or from under the car.
The issue got nothing to do with your spark plugs.
Have you opened the hood and sniffed around when smell was present in the cabin?
You say the smell is only when you start.Updating again. Inside of my cab still smells like gas only when I start it then goes away after driving for a bit. Took it to a shop and they can't find anything wrong and can't smell anything but multiple people can including myself! They are replacing the cabin filter for free to see if that helps. Any theories? I can't be breathing in gas everyday 😕
Could it be that the smell is there when you get in the car after it has sat for a while, but without needing to start the car to produce the smell?
The fuel pump assembly is accessible through the cabin floor, so an imperfect seal there would allow vapors into the cabin when parked for a while. Then normal ventilation when driving would eventually clear it.

Not sure if someone who works around hydrocarbon odors all day is the best to determine where a similar odor is coming from....like asking someone from a wastewater treatment plant if he smells that stinky fart. You need to get on your hands and knees and sniff yourself, or have your kids do it, someone who has a more sensitive nose. Get your nose right on the seats, carpet, wherever, and try to assess the location or area yourself. It may have been the mechanic who sat in your car and unbeknownst to him had oil or gas or something on his clothes and accidentally got some on your seat or floor mat or wherever. Your nose knows, or can find out.
We've been trying to😕 up front it's coming from the vents it seems when the car is on defrost but you can smell it from the middle row too which makes sense since that's where the fuel pump is. It's not the exhaust for sure. Under the hood has a faint smell but it's not as strong compared to inside. Keep in mind that gas will seep quickly from anywhere it leaks. Look for wet spots while you're sniffing it out.
