Expanding on my search for a way to turn old laptop TFT displays into mobile video components, I'd like to know who makes/sells universal fit overhead video pods without LCD's.

The housing pictured is for use with a specific size and model of LCD monitor they sell that already has a housing and front panel push buttons. I'd have to fiddle to make a different LCD fit.

Welcome to the wonderful world of mods. Even application specific parts sometimes need tweaking.

Prepare to do LOTS of custom work on the project you're working on.
