Okay, so I screwed up and let a national chain change my oil. It was $5 with a Scout Card coupon my son sold me, and I figured I coudn't lose. They removed the tires as part of their complimentary inspection so they can recommend all sorts of repairs. Cue the lug nut that some gorilla slapped on and impact wrenched until it was cross threaded.
I couldn't find a DIY, and my Chiltons manual doesn't mention them. Is it as simple as removing the rotor, tapping out the old one, and slipping the new one in from the back? Is there enough room on a 2005 Touring to do that without either removing the hub or grinding the stud?
