I believe the Honda spec is 1.6 mm. But if cutting things that close, be aware that each of the 4 front pads may be wearing slightly differently, and even on the same pad, from one corner to the next may be different.

If trying to run that low, you may find a need to manually bend the wear indicator tang thing to adjust it properly. I think on our first set of pads on the 2011, the screeching started around 4mm due to improper adjustment there.

If all else fails, the metal backing on the thinnest corner of the thinnest pad will let you know when it really needs to be done. But of course you don't want to let it go that far.
