2002 EX

Passenger window will not work via either switch.

Vent windows won't work either.

Driver window works fine.

I've checked the fuses according to the owner's manual.

I've even changed out the driver's door master switch.

Still no luck....

Let's start with the obvious first. Is the POWER WINDOW MASTER SWITCH at the driver's window switch console switched to allow the passenger's window and the rear vents to operate?

Check fuses #7 (7.5A), #8 (20A) and #16 (7.5A) in the Passenger's Under-dash Fuse/Relay Box.

yes, fuses are fine.

Just went out and doublechecked them.

as far as your first statement I'm not sure what you mean about whether it's switched, etc...

I put a brand new Honda master switch on the driver's door and it changed nothing with our problems.

Thanks

There is a button on the driver's window switch to disable all the other switches. For when kids are playing with them or something.

Your symptoms fit what that switch does.

If that is what this ends up being someone has permission to come and kick the crap out of me!

I will go back out now and make sure that's not it.

I never drive the thing so I'm not that familiar with it.

Ok, went out and what do you know!

While you're over here, please smack my wife upside the head too.

Now, can someone delete this thread and we'll pretend like it never happened???

LOL.

Thank you all!

Did that fix the rear vent windows. Those have their own issues. I never bothered to fix ours as the wife wasn't one to drive with the windows open.

I prefer easy solutions to unsolveable problems... :) Loved to get unplugged keyboard calls when I was a call center agent... :)

I think this thread should be tagged and stickied forever at the start of the Odyclub main page! :stupid:

I had two networking guys set up several printers in an office one day some years ago. After the set-up and cable drops, they couldn't figure out why the network and stations still couldn't see one of the printers. I said, "Wouldn't it be better to plug that printer into a power outlet first?" Things indeed were better when they plugged the printer into the outlet. :)
