I dont know if its just my car, but I noticed something really weird...like little wave patterns (kinda like tiger stripes) going along the entire window of the sliding door on the passenger side. You can see it in certain angles, or when applying moisture (wet towel) more vividly. Sometimes, at the right time of the day and or amount of light, its very visible so my little daughter is starting at these odd stripes throughout the drive.

At first, I thought it was some kind of residue from the dealer or the factory sticking window stickers or something. I got a paper towel and thought I wiped it away (rubbed really hard) in one corner, so I bought some microfiber towels to do the rest the next day, only to find that I did not actually rub it away the first time. So I tried very hard with the Microfibers and still, it would not go away. At this point, im assuming its not on the surface.

Anyone else seen or heard of this?

I don't think that the windows are tinted in the aftermarket sense - that is a film is applied. The glass is made with a tint in the glass itself. I can't imagine what the stripes are in the glass? I'd take it to the dealer to have them have a look-see. Perhaps it is something they can polish out? What are you using for a cleaner?

I see that "Rear Privicy Glass" is included in all models. Is that the tinted?

Yes, they all have tint in the rear windows.

Thanks for the tip. I notice with polarizes sunglasses, i see things like this with the rear defroster, but I am noticing this without sunglasses.

Im just at a loss since there are definite patterns. Its also hard to capture on camera.
