Ok, I know that cracked or pitted window glass is not covered by the warranty....but
I have a 4 month old 2011 Odyssey Touring. I noticed a pit the other day about an inch above the bottom of the windshield on the passenger side. I called my pit repair guy (used him before on an older car) and he could not be certain that it was caused by a rock from the outside, because he felt no chip, dent, crack...nothing. Same on the inside (was the crack forming inside the glass??). He attempted to repair it, it looked like it would work, but then a 3 inch crack developed.
I'm getting ready to call Honda, but wonder if I will even get anywhere trying to get the warranty to cover a replacement. I can't prove that it was defective material or workmanship.
Any thoughts?
