I just got my 2011 EX and I have a couple of concerns...

1) This is a small thing, but the aux input seems to be having some issues with sound quality. It sounds almost like there's some static that is most audible when listening to talk radio. I've tried several input cables and all have about the same result. Just checking to see if this is a known issue before I bring it back in.

2) I'm trying to wire a satellite radio (didn't spring for anything above the base EX) but I'm having trouble getting to a wire that is only powered when the car is on. I started with an "add a circuit" and tapped into the fuse for the power socket, but that power is always on - the switch must be after the fuse box. Is there a wiring diagram or does anybody have advice for accessing a wire to tap for power?

I too have heard a crackling sound while listening to my ipod plugged into the aux at low levels. It seems to come and go. Next time I hear it, I'll try to isolate it and maybe adjust the cable.

I also have the EX and would like to know more about the stereo. How different is my head unit from the EX-L? I would like to have the ipod/usb cable in my glove box. Would this involve a total head change or just plugging in an adapter to the back of the unit? Does anyone know about the 2011 EX stereo? And how do I open the dash to have a look at it?
