Wiring kit for Trailer - '97

The '97 Odyssey I recently purchased has a trailer hitch but no electrical hookup. ( they used the hitch for a bicycle rack). I'd like to add a wiring setup for a small trailer. Does The '97(DX) have a plug-in for the wiring kit? The parts man at the Honda Dealership said they didn't have a plug in until about 2000 or 2011 but he didn't sound real sure. Some vendors on the internet show a kit for the '97 with a plug-in. Does a plug in exist for the year and if so where is it?

I have one for my '95 and it plugged right into the factory connector. I used T-One brand.

Bought mine off Ebay. Plugged into exisiting factory plug near the rear left taillight.

Can't find the connector. I removed the little door to access the taillights - felt all around but can't seem to locate it?????????

look for a blue connector taped to the tailight harness

Found it - blue connector taped to the harness. I was looking for a connector just hanging loose somewhere in there.....Thanks!!!!!!!!
