Any odyclub members with a 2011 Odyssey looking for a deal on an HID kit? Please contact me as we are looking for forum members that are interested in installing our high quality HID Kits. We are looking for a forum member that would be interested in posting up a review of the product in exchange for a discounted price.

Thanks,

Steve

Hi,

Your vehicle uses an h11 bulb for the low beams meaning that you would need to use an H11 HID conversion kit. Your high beams would not be affected as your vehicle uses a completely separate bulb for the low beams.

Please let me know if you have interest in posting up some feedback/pictures on the board in exchange for a discounted price. I don't have any pictures of our product installed in a 2011 Odyssey however here are some pictures of our Xtreme HID Kit installed in an 2011 Sienna (also OEM halogen projectors):

Hi Shazzam,

MSRP on the Xtreme HID kit is $199.99. Odyclub members get the product for $174.99 by using coupon code "OC" upon checkout.

Do you have any experience doing online product review/installation DIY threads?

Would it be possible to give you a call to discuss? If so, please send me a PM with your phone number and I will gladly give you a call.

Steve
Hi,

I would rather this post not turn into a commercial post so if you want to find out more information about our product please visit our promo thread (just do a search for "XenonDepot"). In short, it's really easy to leave a review for a product after you install it and it works fine. You can't exactly change reviews 6 months down the road if the product fails on you and the merchant doesn't stand behind the warranty.

Our prices are higher primarily because we pay a premium for the components we use in our products. I can purchase a complete low grade HID kit for less money then I pay for one of my ballasts. While we do have a kit for $199.99 we also have our Volt kit which is $94.99 for OC members.

Our products come backed by a legitimate warranty that is handled through us. An "advertised lifetime warranty" is really only good as long as the vendor you purchase the product from stays in business or stands behind the product. It's very easy to advertise a warranty and high quality service online.. It's a complete other story to actually stand behind it.

Hi,

Discount depends on what you are looking to do. We already have found a couple of people interested so reviews should be posted shortly. If however you are interested in doing this, please send me a PM and I would be more than happy to give you a call to discuss.

50W HID kits will offer you approximately 15% more light output however the light output they emit is not necessarily "functional." Many of our customers switch to our 35W HID Kit as they find that 55W HID kits do not have an even light spread and produce additional glare. Furthermore, most HID vendors selling 50W kits use 50W ballasts with 35W bulbs. Overdriving 35W HID bulbs results in the lights burning hotter and premature failure. You will not find an OEM HID set up that uses a 50W system.

Steve
Yup! All HID kits are currently in stock.

That kit is probably 7 years old. The customer took it out of a previous car and installed in his new car. The bulb that will best match the color would be the Xtreme 6500k.

Hi,

This was posted quite some time ago. Since then, we have had many odyclub members install our HID kit in their 2011+ odyssey with fabulous results :)

We are still offering a $25 discount for odyclub members though. You just need to type in coupon code "OC" upon checkout.

Check out this page for some DIY HID kit installation pictures.

Take a look at this page for a detailed guide on how to install an HID kit in a 2011 Honda Odyssey.

Steve
babybus - You are correct. There is no question that the light output will not be the same as OEM HID. However, the factory halogen projectors certainly do a nice job w/ an HID kit installed :)

Steve
TouringUSA,

Wow! Great pictures! I am sure that this will be very useful for Odyclub members that are considering upgrading the lights on their 2011 Odyssey with an HID kit. What did you think of the new relay harness? You can see from your pictures (step 4) that the relays are completely sealed now so that there is no chance of mositure/corrosion damaging the relay.

Have you had a chance to drive at night yet?

For those interested, TouringUSA purchased the H11 4300k Xtreme HID kit with Philips bulbs.

Steve
:) I'm happy to hear that!

Enjoy your new HIDs :)
