These are a professionally done HID retrofit I had done in June of 2013 by HID Illusionz. The headlight housings were brand new at the time of retrofit. This is the same setup as the first gen Acura TSX.

This is is a Plug and play setup

Morimoto mini h1 projectors (low beams/bi-xenon)
Circular chime Apollo shrouds
Morino ballasts
Complete wiring harnesses and relays, along with inline fuse

I have about $800 into this setup with the costs of the retrofitting and the price of the housings.

Asking $450 shipped to lower 48.

here is a link to pictures and a description of my actual headlights that were taken 2 years ago on HID Illusionz website.

For you guys thinking about installing HID in a 2005-2007 Odyssey, take a good look. :nice:

Some of you might think "Oh, I'd rather have a D2S bulb." Well, essentially the Mini H1 projector utilizes a D2S capsule with an H1 base. You will have zero difficulties getting any color temperature for legal operation and efficient light throw.

I fitted Mini D2S projectors of about the same length, but the Mini H1 that ivtec1 utilizes have a more optimum length to lens width ratio than the Mini D2S that I used. What does that mean to you? More light thrown down the road where you need it, less foreground lighting to preserve the driver's dark adapted vision (that's you), and better orientation of the beam's hot spot. Wish I'd used Mini H1's as well.

LXODY fitted the Mini H1 architecture to his Gen 2 Odyssey. It's better than Mini D2S. Although the Gen 2 Odyssey more easily utilizes the Mini D2S for fitting into its headlamp bucket, he decided on the better light solution. Yes, he's more than happy with the choice. A few extra minutes of labor in exchange for night after night of solid lighting on the roadways.

Note the Honda OEM headlight housings. If you want something that resists yellowing and crazing better than non-Honda replacements, this is the way to go in my experience. Generally, the Honda housings (like ivtec1 uses) have a more robust adjustment setup; i.e., read that as it is more durable, which is another plus. Also, the odds of it fitting....yes, it's going to fit your Ody, it's Honda OEM.

After having hacked through it myself, finding a pro-built setup like this shipped to your door....if I had a Gen 3 Odyssey, this is where I'd put my saved-up HID retrofit dollars.

Yes, it's a shameless bump, but that's how much I like this setup.

Thank you for providing the in depth technical info on my setup Odyfamily. I have been very happy with the setup, I had an issue last year with one of the resisters and Rich at HID Illusionz upgraded me to a new type of resister and I've had no issues. I did a lot of research before I invested the money.
