Picking up my 2018 Elite on Wednesday and I want to know what everyone's opinions are. I've had weathertech in all my other vehicles but this is my first Honda. So how do the Honda genuine accessories stand up to the competition?

99.9% of forum members prefer WeatherTech.

It appears that the WeatherTech mats for the 2nd & 3rd rows aren't that much different than the Honda ones.

The front Weathertech mats cover more of the left foot support than the Honda mats, although they don't don't go up high enough for my size 13 shoe.

If the high sides of the front Weathertechs fit tightly against the console, they look pretty nice. If they don't (say from warping), they look terrible and are a funnel for debris.

I went with the Honda mats because I got them for a great price and where I live, there's very little rain or snow.

I did use the search. I only found a couple of threads on the subject of floor mats but nothing commenting on the quality of the Honda genuine accessories. Maybe I didn't look hard enough.

Any opinion on MaxFloorMats on Amazon? The fronts look similar to Husky and WeatherTech and cost $189 for 3 rows.

I can comment generally on this brand; my sister has them in her vehicle but it isn't an Ody.

The plastic is good quality, about the same thickness as WeatherTech and Husky, but a little shinier than both of those other brands. They're not slippery but they are visually noticeable compared to the Husky Liners and WeatherTechs that I've owned that kind of blend into the rest of the interior.

The dead pedal coverage is good, similar to the Husky Liners (which is better than WeatherTech who inexplicably always seem to go only halfway up the dead pedal so mud and snow can leak behind).

The fit is not as precise as it could be in my sister's vehicle. The liners seem to be about 99% of the perfect size. But the raised edges are good, so it's not a serious issue.

I'd also be interested to know if anyone has these in their Ody.

I have weather tech all 3 rows.
Plus point is it does cover side walls much batter than OEM ones.
Minus point is it is sleeperry and really dont feel good.
so bottom point, if you needed side wall go with weather tech otherwise OEM rubber will be much batter.

I have the cargo, second row and front liners from Husky. I really like the Husky fit and have heard positive reviews from other users. Husky had 10% off and free shipping when I purchased so it was a little cheaper than WeatherTech. As others have pointed out the Husky liners offer more coverage in the front wells which is a nice added bonus.

I went with the oem.Had weather tec for years and they are ok.Dealer gave us a great deal as first time customers with a 2013 used Ody,bought else where, and installed them.I sold the original rug mats and everyone is happy. The fit is fine and looks good.

I agree with this. I have both and prefer the high side walls of the weather tech. The only complaint on the weather tech is that the 3rd row mats move a little.

I have the Weathertech, love it but one problem. Anyone have any idea how to protect the 2nd row area where the sliding chairs are? For example when I slide the 2nd row chair to the middle for entry/exit the carpet area underneath the 2nd row chairs is exposed and gets really dirty (with snow/dirt/water) now that its winter time.

Had WeatherTechs on my 2015 - they were awesome, only negative(which could also be a positive) was the 2nd and 3rd row was all one piece and to be cleaned, you had to take the 2nd row seats out completely.
Got my 2018 a month ago and was able to get the dealer to throw in the all-weather OEM set - they do the job and for 2.5 rows they are comparable to WeatherTechs, the one mat that's the big difference is the driver's mat...WeatherTech was waaaay better as far as coverage/protection goes, but Honda one is not horrible by any means and free beats $$$ any day :)
