Hi there,

My Odyssey is at about 136k miles and runs like a charme (whatelse to expect [emoji23])

Since April I use the S-VCM disabler and I am pretty happy with it. However the car could be a bit more responsive and a bit better acceleration.

Looking for tuning options for Honda Odyssey, I found these:

Smarttune Stage 2 Performance Chip Module OBD2 For Honda

There is also a Stage 1 option

... and a Stage 3

Did somebody of you ever test them?
At least the description sounds promising.

Regards

Niels

Thanks for the feedback.
Is there any proven way to squeeze a bit more power out of the engine? A bit more torque, a few more hp, a bit better acceleration? Less interested in higher speed. More than 100mph on German Autobahn with the car is more than enough. The car is not really made for faster driving [emoji16][emoji592]

Hi Niels,

I just picked up that exact Stage 3 setup you posted for Christmas. Daddy wanted some frivolous toys! I haven't done anything at all to my 2016 Ody TE yet (bought just a month ago or so) but I enjoy simple mods and bolt ons for my vehicles so this is where I've historically started. I haven't done any dynos and probably won't. You'll have to take my word for it when I get it installed and it does its thing. Says it takes two weeks to "learn" how you drive before it really starts adjusting signals to the engine. We'll see. I'm surprised how little there is on this site for performance modifications but I'm happy to see that there's at least a couple/few folks interested in this stuff. I'll keep you posted when I've got it installed and given in a few weeks to kick in.

Cheers,
Robert

Had a chance to give 'er two really good runs at WOT on the way in to work tonight. Throttle response was way faster, and acceleration was certainly improved. Let off at about 90 mph. And this is supposedly before it's really dialed itself in. I'm pleased thus far with actual performance, aside from the initial aesthetic concerns shown in the videos. After a couple weeks I'll let you know if fuel economy has improved or suffered.
