Is there a consolidated post for the 10 speed transmission drain and fill? This is for a 2023 model year. I've found the bellow from YT (DIAL2FAST), but don't want to go down that rabbit hole if it's a one way trip.

Is there a better point of reference that includes part numbers, etc that I am missing in odyclub? TIA.

Super easy filling through it
Just did the drain and fill this past weekend. Call it a “break in” drain and fill. Old fluid looked decent at 10k and I got a fair bit of filings off the drain plug. I used a container that measures fluid and just replaced what I removed. I used this overflow port and it worked just fine! A little over 5 qts total exchanged.

OCD incindiary comment to follow: If you know (and trust) the fluid level you remove, I felt comfortable skipping the level check process this gen calls for. Given factory fluid fill and no issues, I figured this was as good of a time as any to “trust” prior work I did not do.

How is the drain and fill fluid change so far? Been 6 months.

I was thinking of following this drain and fill from TOP method bypassing the fluid check sequence

Just a question, did you have to account for the new fluid and old fluid to be the same temperature due to fluid expansion ?. Or is 4 liters (drained and 4 liters (fill) regardless of fluid temp.

.
BLUF: zero issues

I got some lexan(?) type containers to make the fluid volume as close to equal as possible. Yes, old and new fluid were both at room temp to account for any expansion. Not the same as the prior gen for volumes. I think I had a little over 4 qts IIRC to replace what came out. But unless you want to do the level check, you want to keep the volumes the same. Again, this is assuming the volume you are replacing is appropriate.
